At Kindness Changes Everything, we believe everyone deserves a second chance.
This belief is what inspired us to create a program rooted in equity, inclusion, and purpose. Our initiative blends environmental conservation with real opportunity—empowering individuals who have recently been released from jail or prison, as well as those currently on probation, to complete their court-ordered community service hours in a way that builds positive work ethic and restores dignity.
Through meaningful projects that improve our environment and uplift our neighborhoods, participants experience not just fulfillment—but a sense of purpose, contribution, and true community collaboration.

That’s why our programs focus on more than just cleaning up the planet—we’re also creating opportunities for people who’ve been impacted by the justice system to find purpose, dignity, and community.
What Equity Means to Us:
Equity is about fairness. Not everyone starts from the same place, and we recognize that. Our Rehabilitation Through Conservation program offers second chances to individuals—such as probationers, first-time offenders, and community members in need of service hours—by giving them meaningful ways to give back, grow, and heal.

Inclusion means everyone deserves a seat at the table. We believe that people with lived experience bring unique perspectives and powerful stories that can lead to real change. By including them in environmental work and community service, we’re creating a more compassionate, connected, and unified community.
